From STAFF REPORTS

St. Francis got multiple goals from Greg Camacho, Fabrizio Mettimmano, John Balog and Luca Vitale and were able to cruise by La Salle on Tuesday.

The Golden Knights took a 7-3 lead at the half, and put the game away with six consecutive goals in the third period.

Art Xue continues to be La Salle’s offense.

Xue had 5 of the Lancers 9 goals.

James Desjarlais added three goals for La Salle.

Nicholas Ary scored once.

St. Francis got steals from Robert Alietti, Maclean Ireland, Dante Valle and Jack Salseda.

Quotable:

St. Francis coach Brady Lowdermilk: “The challenge I gave the team was to a) make the goalie work by pumping the ball and putting it high and away from the middle, and b) no exclusions. Several of our goals today were the result of making the goalie work, and we didn’t have any exclusions in the third quarter at all. So today was successful but we still have a lot to work out.”

Box Score:
La Salle: 1-2-0-6-(9)
St. Francis 2-5-6-2-(15)
