For the second consecutive week, Poly has gotten off fast and went into cruise control the rest of the way.

The Panthers took a 26-0 lead into the break and never looked back.

Poly earned a 33-6 nonleague victory thanks to a balanced and dominant effort on both offense and defense.

Graham Olson had scoring runs of 8 and 24 yards, and he threw a 17-yard TD pass to Jackson Hayes.

Olson also had 3 tackles, 4 hurries and a fumble recovery while on defense.

Cameron McFarlane had a 1-yard TD run, and then wrecked the Rosamond offense with 13 tackles.

McFarlane rushed for 32 yards on 8 carries, including the TD run.

Jackson Treister led the Panthers’ rushing attack with 106 yards rushing on 15 carries.

Zane Behary recovered a bad snap on a punt attempt by Rosamond and scored for Poly.

Jackson Hayes had four catches for 62 yards and the score.

Other defensive standouts include Thomas McConnell’s game-best 14 tackles, Franco Alonso’s 10 tackles, Ryan Clayton’s 8 tackles and Henry Dean’s 7 tackles.

Poly will travel to Maranatha next Thursday at 7.
