In the shortest match to date (2 hours) of the Lady Minutemen’s season, Maranatha rolled swiftly and decisively over the rebuilding Heralds, putting MHS at 5-0 and in sole possession of first place in the Olympic League.

Singles standout, #1 Angela Hsieh, recorded her third consecutive “triple bagel” (6-0, 6-0, 6-0), while ace, #2 Malena Smith, recorded another sweep, 6-2, 6-1, 6-2.

On the doubles side, reigning league tournament champs, #1 Maddie Hernandez and Michael Wilkins, turned in their first-ever “triple bagel,” dominating their competition.

Emerging #2 doubles, Hellen Hong and Stella Wang, weren’t far behind, registering a 6-1, 6-1, 6-1 scoreline.

The # 3 doubles position was anchored by Reagan Atallah, who played with newcomer, Shuhan Yang for two sets (6-0, 6-3), as well as newcomer, Natalie Song, for one set (6-1). It was Song’s match debut.
