Joshua Arevalo was a 2-time, All-SCC First Team selection for the Lancers mne’s soccer team in 2016-17.

Despite finishing last or fifth place in the diffcult South Coast Conference North Division, the Pasadena City College men’s soccer team received four selections to the 2017 All-SCC North Team.

Sophomore midfielder Joshua Arevalo had the distinction of being a 2-time, All-SCC First Team choice. Arevalo (from Glendale High) tallied three assists this season and served as a PCC team captain. Leading goal scorer and sophomore forward Pablo Buenrostro (also from Glendale HS) led PCC in scoring with 17 points and eight goals and earned an All-SCC North First Team nod.

Making All-SCC Second Team (30 players selected from five teams overall) from the Lancers were sophomore defender Satchel Robinson (Muir High, three assists) and freshman midfielder Romio Sislian (Hoover High), who scored three goals.

PCC was directed this season by acting head coach Gerry Mora.
