Accomplishment(s): Sanchez was of the many stars on the history-making La Salle girls volleyball team. She had 11 kills and 3 blocks in Tuesday’s three-game sweep over visiting Olympian of Chula Vista in the CIF State Division 2 Regional semifinal. On Saturday, Sanchez added 15 kills and 7 blocks in the Lancers’ 5-game loss at Sierra Canyon in the Regional Final. La Salle (28-7) won the Del Rey League without a loss and then made finals appearances in the CIF-SS Division 3 and CIF State Division 2 title matches, and the La Salle senior did her part in that magical run. Sanchez will attend Seattle University and continue her volleyball career.
