After three straight wins to begin the season, the Rebels have lost three consecutive games, including Wednesday night’s setback to a South Pasadena team they had played 8 days ago.

Prep defeated South Pasadena back on Nov. 29, 65-63, in the Providence Tournament.

The Rebels, this time, got South Pasadena at home, and again, it was as close as it gets.

South Pasadena was able to slip by Prep, 66-63, in overtime, Wednesday night in a nonleague battle.

Nick Corvino led South Pasadena and all scorers with 20 and Ryan Chuang added 13 for the Tigers.

Jack Cartwright had a career-high 17 for Prep and AJ Nicassio had a breakout game with 11 points and 15 rebounds.

Prep will travel tonight (Thursday) to Blair (3-1) at 7 to take on the Vikings.
