Accomplishment(s): Magee’s early-season run for Coach Jett del Mundo’s basketball program is even more impressive, considering the fact that she just finished leading the Bulldogs’ volleyball program to new heights. In just the second week of the season, Magee helped Pasadena claim the Burroughs Tournament title on Saturday night. The Bulldogs even settled a score along the way. They knocked off Village Christian in the semifinals just one year after the Crusaders knocked off PHS in the Burroughs tourney finals and in the CIF-SS semifinals. They also earned victories over Mayfair, St. Joseph, and their 55-33 title-game win over Burroughs. Magee earned tournament MVP honors, thanks to her averaging 15 points and 20 rebounds per game, including a 26-point, and 22 rebound gem in the 64-59 win over Village Christian.
