It’s been a few games since Sarah Johnson was the Panthers’ top scorer.

That’s not a bad thing, because Kylie Kishi and others make Poly a more diverse and tougher team to guard.

But on Tuesday, it was Johnson’s 16 points that paced the Poly offense.

The Panthers downed the Firehawks, 43-34, in a nonleague contest.

Alexis Pappachan finished with 8 points.

Both Shannon Dilbeck and Keara Carragher added 7 points apiece and Sarah Thein contributed 5 points.

Poly won’t play again until next Wednesday when they take on Firebaugh in a Prep League game.
