Jonathan Le continues to show how a good captain leads the way, and especially in the season’s biggest games.

Le scored a game-high 19 on Wednesday night.

The Rebels defeated visiting Compton Centennial, 59-51, in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 4AA playoffs.

AJ Nicassio is peaking at the right time, as the junior scored 10 points and had 10 rebounds.

Ervin Allison led Centennial with 13 points and Darius Alexanger finished with 12 points.

Jonathan Au chipped in 8 points, while Nick Davis and Matthew Ho had 6 points apiece.

Flintridge Prep will travel to top-seeded Hillcrest (27-3) on Friday night in Riverside.
