It was business as usual for the Pasadena basketball program.

The Bulldogs won their 14th consecutive game on Friday, and to no one’s surprise, it wasn’t even close.

PHS hammered Loyola, 77-47, in the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs.

Bryce Hamilton led the offense with team highs in points (28) and rebounds (11).

The star senior also added 3 assists and 3 steals and made 11-of-19 (shots) from the field.

Darius Brown II finished with 16 points and 9 assists.

DBII made 6 of his 9 shots, including a pair of 3-point baskets, and he had 6 steals and 3 rebounds.

Percy had 13 points and 9 rebounds for the Bulldogs.

Omari Moore had 7 points and 7 boards, and Darius Mason finished with 5 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists.

Jesse Watkins added 3 points and 8 rebounds.

PHS hadn’t played in 9 days after receiving a first-round bye, and it was their first sub-.500 shooting night in at least a month.

Pasadena made 27 of 59 shots from the field (46 percent) and converted on 18-of-28 from the free-throw line.

The Bulldogs will meet up with Damien (24-6) on Tuesday night, and a coin flip will determine the location.

The Spartans defeated Cantwell-Sacred Heart, 69-63, on Friday night in La Verne.
