Poly finds itself in the CIF-SS Division 4A semifinals after a 60-54 victory over visiting Maranatha on Wednesday night.

Sarah Johnson led all scorers with 28 points, and Kylie Kishi had 15 for the Panthers.

Poly held off a very feisty Maranatha team, and in a game that neither team outscored the other by more than 6 points in any of the four quarters.

Patil Yaacoubian led Maranatha with 24 points and 8 rebounds.

Cherise Masuda added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 steals for the Lady Minutemen.

Poly will travel to second-seeded Cathedral on Saturday night at 7 in the semifinal round.

The Phantoms earned a 66-55 road victory at San Marino in their quarterfinal contest on Wednesday.
