Mayfield used an 18-run third inning to clobber Providence, 20-6.
Alyssa Romo went 3 2/3 innings, allowing 6 runs on 2 hits and she struck out a pair of Providence batters.
Romo also did her part at the plate as well.
The junior had two hits, including a home run and 6 RBIs.
Julia Domingo went 2 for 3 an drove in three runs.
Jaylin Domingo added two hits and a pair of RBIs.
Julia Watson went 3 for 4 with a triple and drove in two runs.
Taylin Yankovich tripled and had 3 RBIs.
The Cubs tallied 12 hits and stole 13 bases.
Mayfield, if the weather allows, is scheduled to take on Linfield Christian today (Saturday) in the Webb Tournament.
