Crescenta Valley completed the two-game sweep over Pasadena on Friday night and they made a statement early.

The Falcons scored eight runs in the first three innings and earned an 8-3 victory over the visiting Bulldogs.

Nik Moran was battered for seven runs on eight hits in just 2 1/3 innings on the mound for PHS.

CV took the season sweep by a combined margin of 15-4 and it dropped the Bulldogs to 0-2 in Pacific League play.

Aaron Corder went 1 for 1 with a pair of RBIs.

Adrian DePasquale had two hits and scored once for PHS.

Hugo Escobedo went 1 for 3 and scored a run for the Bulldogs.

Pasadena will continue Pacific League play Tuesday, as the Bulldogs travel to Burroughs at 3:30.
