From STAFF REPORTS

Three St. Francis seniors joined baseball coach Aaron Dorlarque Thursday to sign their letters of intent.

The Golden Knights trio will each continue their baseball careers at the collegiate level.

Aaron Treloar, has team-highs in RBIs (11) and doubles (6), and despite hitting .360, the 6-foot-3 right hander will head to Point Loma primarily as a pitcher.

Treloar’s last 24 hours have been a memorable time for the senior.

On Wednesday, he allowed just one hit and one run over six innings to help the Golden Knights win their first Mission League game of the year, and is second in strikeouts with 21.

Chris Stamos is without question Dorlarque’s ace, and he’s literally won half of the Golden Knights games on the mound.

The senior lefty is 3-1 with a 1.35 ERA, and he’s struck out a team-high 25 batters.

Stamos is headed to Principia College in Elsah, Illinois.

Last but not least is John Politis.

Politis has three hits, including a double and the senior has scored five runs.

He will attend Illinois Tech in Chicago.
