Bishop Amat scored all 12 of their runs Tuesday in the third and fourth innings, but it was the nine-run fourth inning that doomed La Salle.

Amat out-hit La Salle just 12-11 and earned a 12-7 victory in a game with both schools being ‘Lancers.’

Collette Allen went the distance for La Salle and she was saddled with the loss.

But of the 12 runs she was credited with surrendering, Allen only gave up three earned runs.

Allen did her best at the plate as well, going 3 for 4 with a double and four RBIs.

Grace Fosselman had one hit, scored twice and drove in a run.

Danielle Kurkdijian went 1 for 3 with an RBI and Alyssa Arroyo had a base hit and an RBI.

Eight of La Salle’s nine starters had at least one hit on Tuesday.

Amat’s Desiree Marin went 3 for 3 with two runs scored and a pair of RBIs.

Kate Nugent had two hits, a run and RBI and Jadeyn Juarez singled, doubled, scored two runs for Amat and drove in two more.

La Salle will host Calvary Chapel Downey on Thursday at 3:15.
