To the Rebels’ credit, though, Prep outlasted Firebaugh 13-12.
The Falcons scored 11 of their 12 runs in the final three innings, including four seventh-inning runs.
Olivia Stevens had a two-run blast and finished with four RBIs.
Melissa Grande finished 2 for 3 and was hit by pitch four times.
Libby Penn had two hits, including a double.
Prep will travel to Providence on Wednesday at 3.
