Despite not playing all week (until Saturday) and having a 132-mile road trip to Dunn School in Los Olivos, the Poly bats came alive in the late innings.

The Panthers scored five runs in the fifth, a pair in the sixth and four more in the seventh inning to earn an 11-4 victory at Dunn.

It’s their 13th consecutive victory.

Matt Queen went the first four innings, didn’t allow a hit or walk and struck out three.

Franco Alonso and Joe Masters had two hits apiece and both drove in three runs.

Cameron McFarlane tripled, stole a base and drove in a pair of runs.

Ben Bryson tripled, walked three times and scored three runs.

Sean Tibay hit a solo shot for the Panthers.

Poly will host rival Flintridge Prep on Tuesday at 3:30.
