Last week, Mayfield won games over Flintridge Prep and Firebaugh, and fell short against Westridge. Watson had a huge week. The junior went 6 for 11 at the plate, including a pair of home runs. Watson scored 8 runs and drove in four. If the Cubs (15-5, 9-2) defeat Chadwick on Tuesday, they will claim the Prep League title.
