Maranatha didn’t even make the postseason in 2017.

One year later and with one regular season game to go, the Lady Minutemen earned at least a share of the Olympic League crown on Tuesday.

MHS improved to 7-0 in league after shutting out visiting Valley Christian, 12-0, in a five-inning, mercy-rule victory.

Devyn Netz allowed just three hits, walked two and struck out 12 en route to another victory for the sophomore in the circle.

Priscilla McAllister had a two-run home run and a bunt single.

Devyn Netz tripled and Aly Granados hit a two-run shot and a double.

Grace Rose and Mackenzie Pam both had base hits for the Minutemen.

Miranda Lopez singled twice.

Caroline Diehl, Gracie Rose and Reagan Atallah each left the school happy, as all three were honored on senior night.

Maranatha can win the outright Olympic League title with a win Thursday at Village Christian (14-10, 6-1) out in Sun Valley.
