Accomplishment: Ella Mao and the Poly program took a huge first step towards what they hope and people predict will end with a Prep League championship. Mao helped lead the Panthers to three Prep League victories this past week. Poly defeated the two-time reigning champs (Westridge) on Tuesday, knocked off Chadwick on Thursday and then swept their rivals from Flintridge Prep on Friday. The junior had approximately 36 kills and 20 aces.
