If Flintridge Prep makes a solid run in Prep League play, they’ll be able to look back to this particular week as a launching pad.

After beginning the season 1-2, Flintridge Prep has victories this week over then-undefeated Providence, San Marino and now Maranatha.

The Rebels earned the 25-23, 25-20 and 25-20 sweep of the Minutemen.

Libby Penn provided 13 kills and Courtney Johnson added 10 kills.

Joelle Battles led Maranatha with 13 kills and Sophie Berry contributed 9 assists and 7 aces.

Macy Asaoka had 8 assists and Lauren Ramirez finished with 4 kills and 16 digs for the Minutemen.

Flintridge Prep will travel to Alhambra today (Friday) at 3:30.

Maranatha will take part in the two-day Burbank Tournament starting today and finishing up on Saturday.
