Quotable:

Marshall setter Malia Wilson: “We have to hit better and talk more on the court. I’m disappointed we didn’t win but not disappointed on how we played. We were a lot more confident with our passing. We have to stay calm. We got nervous whenever the score got close. We second-guessed ourselves a lot.”

Records: Rosemead (3-8, 2-2); Marshall (7-9, 2-3)
