Maranatha fell to 0-4 in Olympic League play Tuesday evening.
But ask each of their opponents, and you’ll hear how feisty this Lady Minutemen squad is to the final point of each match.
Cerritos Valley Christian came up to Pasadena and earned a four-set victory.
CVC won by scores of 25-14, 25-27, 25-22 and 25-23.
Joelle Battles led the offense with 12 kills and had a pair of blocks.
Lauren Ramirez added 5 kills and 6 digs.
Kamryn Asaoka added 18 digs for MHS.
Maranatha will take part of the Crescenta Valley Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
