Accomplishments: In a weather-shortened game, Tanner Tomko opened the scoring for St. Francis with a 56-yard touchdown catch on literally the game’s first play from scrimmage. Tomko later had a 67-yard TD reception, where he shook off a Salesian defensive back and cruised into the end zone. Reeves had a 35-yard touchdown and finished the night with three catches for 75 yards, while Tomko had two for 123 yards. All three scores came from senior quarterback Darius Perrantes, and the Golden Knights opened Angelus League play with a 41-0 victory over Salesian. Tomko and Reeves lead St. Francis with 7 receiving TD’s apiece through the first eight games.
