La Salle knew it had an uphill climb when they entered the CIF-SS Division 2 playoffs on Thursday evening.
The Lancers had to travel out to south Orange County and play on the floor of top-seeded Aliso Niguel.
The Wolverines earned the sweep by scores of 25-15, 25-16 and 25-20.
Chloe Howell led the way with 16 kills and 10 digs.
Elle Harrity had 7 kills and Carly Kejmar added 3 kills and 8 assists.
Vanessa Ramirez had a team-high 20 digs.
Aliso Niguel moves on to face El Dorado.
The Golden Hawks swept Ventura on the road to earn Saturday’s home match.
