The Lady Minutemen played solid tennis against the visiting Patriots of Providence (Santa Barbara), who had just defeated AGBU/Canoga Park in Canoga Park yesterday, 10-8, in a wild card match to enter the main draw of the CIF-SS Div. 5 playoffs.
This 1st round match was all Maranatha from the start, as they cruised to a 10-0 victory, before losing 3 of the final 8 sets.
Next up for the Lady Minutemen is a trip to Hesperia for a 2nd round match as they play Sultana, who defeated Adelanto today, 11-7.
