Mayfield Junior School’s Girls’ Basketball Captures 2018 Independent League Title

With games on the line, eighth grader Sophia Heredia drained two last-second three-point baskets against Westridge and Polytechnic to propel the Mustangs to victories and the 2018 Independent League championship. Mayfield concluded the season with a 7-1 record and next competes in the league tournament.
