Muir looks to bounce back after dropping its first game of the year last week at La Salle.

A major key is whether the Mustangs can protect quarterback Jason Edwards.

Edwards was on his back or being rushed most of the night by the La Salle defense and didn’t allow him to get the ball to Muir’s premier player in wide receiver Elijah Blades.

Blades, a Univ. of Florida commit, was shut down last week because of the lack of protection, but he did caught a 51-yard TD in the last two minutes of the game.

He’ll be the best athlete on the field, so getting him the ball will be imperative.

Burbank is averaging a mere 260 yards of total offense and has allowed just 48 points in three games.
