Accomplishment: Trailing 13-10 with four minutes to play in an Angelus League showdown with Salesian, Mathews took a pass from quarterback Michael Bonds 80 yards for what turned out to be the game-winning score. The senior had a game-best 110 yards receiving on three catches and St. Francis remained perfect at 7-0. Mathews also does his part on defense.
