Typically, in the first round of the playoffs in any sport, the road team is considered the underdog, because the home team earned its hosting duties with a better season record.

But Flintridge Prep made itself at home on Wednesday at Webb.

The Rebels defeated Webb, 15-3, in the CIF-SS Division 4 playoffs.

Prep will host JW North on Friday afternoon in a second-round match.

Crystal Juan and Libby Penn both swept their matches in singles.

Suzie Kim won two of three.

Tiana Lopez and partner Jayarsi Krishnakynar swept all three of their matches.

Emilie Hu and Maya Khurana won two matches.

Suha Chang and Lauren Cho also won two matches for the Rebels.
