Flintridge Prep struggled for much of Tuesday’s showdown with Cantwell-Sacred Heart at the Cardinals own tournament.
The Rebels (8-2) had just 24 points through three quarters and trailed by 15 points in the second round of the Cantwell-Sacred Heart Tournament.
Prep, though, outscored the Cardinals (8-4) 18-12 in the fourth quarter to get close.
But the damage was already done.
Prep will face Ramona Convent on Thursday in the third round of the tournament.
