Flintridge Prep and Pasadena were locked in a 21-20 battle at half time in the third game of the Cantwell-Sacred Heart Tournament.
Pasadena (10-3) held the 1-point lead at the break.
But Prep (9-2) outscored the Bulldogs, 38-19 in the second half to a relatively comfortable victory.
Kaitlyn Chen led all scorers with 23 for Prep.
Mariah Cathcart led Pasadena with 14 points.
Prep will face Ramona Convent at 5:30 on Friday, and Pasadena gets host, Cantwell-Sacred Heart at 8:30, as tournament play winds down.
