St. Francis got 31 from senior guard Joey Walsh and the Golden Knights took down La Serna, 85-70, Thursday night to win the Nogales Basketball Tournament.
The Golden Knights (9-3) got a balanced offensive effort.
Malakhi Jensen had 16, Sean Stephen added 10 and Lucas Shin and Omari Moore had 9 points each for St. Francis.
Walsh scored 16 first-half points and 15 in the second half to thwart a couple La Serna (11-2) rallies.
Cedric Sobers led La Serna with 23 points and Daniel Canales had 17.
The Golden Knights open Mission League play Wednesday when they host Crespi (6-9) at 7 p.m.
