La Salle locked up in a tight Camino Real League showdown with St. Monica Wednesday evening.
The Lancers, though, outscored the Mariners by 10 points in the final quarter to pull away for a 51-35 victory.
AJ Akobian led the way with 15 points.
Jaice Gardner added 13 and Darius Henderson had 10.
La Salle (14-2 overall, 1-0 in league) will go to Bellarmine-Jefferson (2-11, 0-1) Friday at 7.
