Prep League Leading Poly has been without scoring leader and star freshman Talie Wilmans for the last six games.

But Colleen Woo picked up the slack Monday afternoon with 6 goals and 2 assists in the Panthers’ 11-2 victory over La Salle.

Poly led 8-0 at the half and the Lancers (2-16, 1-9) were never able to make it a game.

Kate Fogassa scored 2 goals for the Panthers, while Shaya Naimi, Kate Penner and Megan Kelleher each scored once.

La Salle was able to muster just 9 shots on goal, as compared to 31 for Poly, and Panthers’ goalie Kate McInerny blocked 2 shots.

Poly will host fourth-place Chadwick on Friday at 3:30, before next Monday’s showdown with Westridge for the Prep League title on the line.
