Brianna Sanchez shut out Bishop Conaty-Loretto on two hits and struck out eight batters on Thursday in a Horizon League contest.
Sanchez and the Jaguars defeated the Wildcats 12-0, in five innings.
Mikaela Godinez, Alex Barroso and Clarissa Gianoli all hit home runs for first-place Alverno.
Barroso had two hits and she drove in four runs.
Godinez drove in two runs and scored another.
Alicia Mercado went 2 for 2 with two runs scored and an RBI.
Gianoli had two hits, scored twice and drove in a run.
Alverno will travel to Los Angeles to take on Sacred Heart of Jesus on Tuesday at 3:30.
Sanchez improved to 6-2 in the circle for the Jaguars.
