Accomplishment(s): La Salle played its third consecutive road game and not only bounced back from a loss at Birmingham last week, they relied on underclassmen to get the job done. Freshman quarterback CJ Montes completed 19 of 28 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns. Junior Justin Lockhart was Montes’ favorite target as the two connected five times for 78 yards and Lockhart had TD catches of 37 and 23 yards, respectively. La Salle held off Muir, 21-20, Friday, for an important road victory, and the Lancers handed the Mustangs their first loss of the season.
