Accomplishment(s): Henderson led La Salle to Artesia Tournament victories over Pioneer, South Gate and Marina, before falling to Long Beach Wilson on Saturday night. The senior averaged 22 points and 11 rebounds throughout the week, and he also earned all-Tournament, first-team honors. Henderson’s shining moment was his 30 point, 15-rebound effort in the 70-69 victory over Marina in the tournament semifinals. La Salle is off to a quick 7-2 start, and they’ll next face Crenshaw on the road next Friday night at 7.
