Accomplishment(s): Lindsey Uteda had four saves in the CIF-SS Division 3 finals. The senior goalie helped lead Flintridge Prep to their first girls soccer championship in school history. After allowing an early goal 12 minutes or so into the game, Uteda shut down top-seeded Pacifica the rest of the way. The Rebels also got a huge effort from freshman forward (striker) Makenna Dominguez. After Prep junior Helen Schaefer tied the game at 1-1 late in the first half, Dominguez scored a pair of second half goals to help clinch the Division 3 championship Saturday at Warren High School. Dominguez also assisted in Schaefer’s goal. The Rebels are currently on a 20-game win streak and play Narbonne this Tuesday at 4 at St. Francis High School in the first round of the Southern California Regional playoffs.
