Marshall (5-3 overall, 2-2 in league) travel to Mission Valley League power South El Monte.

South El Monte (7-1, 3-1) is in second place and with wins Friday and next week against Rosemead, Marshall could finish as high as second place.

There is no secret about the South El Monte offense.

Sal Tovar has 1,731 yards rushing and a mind-boggling 22 TD runs.

DJ Paul has quietly put up numbers that rival almost anyone in the San Gabriel Valley.

Paul has 1,108 yards rushing and 13 touchdown runs.

Jonathon Frimpong and Andrew Kanamu have both excelled in coach Scott Faer’s ‘Wing-T’ offense, and have a combined total of 1,060 yards and 13 touchdowns.
