Anyone that was concerned about Pasadena having a letdown as they faced last-place Hoover had nothing to worry about.

The Bulldogs did not look beyond their opponent Friday night, as they destroyed Hoover, 79-49.

Darius Brown scored 24 points, dished out 11 assists and grabbed 3 rebounds.

Bryce Hamilton added 22 points, had 8 rebounds and 3 assists.

Darius Mason chipped in with 21 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds.

Pasadena improves to 12-5 overall, and holds its spot atop the Pacific League standings at 5-0.

Pasadena will host Glendale Tuesday at 7, but it’s Friday’s trip to Muir that will have the Pasadena area buzzing.
