Accomplishments: Yang headed into Thursday’s Del Rey League game at Bishop Montgomery in Torrance knowing La Salle needed a win to stay in the hunt for a league title behind Bishop Amat. The senior forward took it upon herself to make sure the job got done, scoring two first-half goals and another late in the second half for a ‘ hat trick.’ The Lancers defeated Bishop Montgomery, 3-1, and are just one-game back of Bishop Amat. La Salle is now 12-4-2 overall and 2-1 in league.
