El Segundo’s Justin Ostler went six strong innings Saturday morning at the Arcadia County Park.

The Eagles’ starter allowed just an unearned run in the first inning and three hits in El Segundo’s 7-3 victory over La Salle in the Redondo Tournament.

Ostler walked one and struck out three to earn the win.

The Eagles got three runs (two earned) off Steven Froio over his three innings Saturday.

Froio gave up just two hits, walked two and struck out one, and was saddled with the loss.

La Salle rallied for two seventh-inning runs, but it wasn’t enough.

Ethan Patrick went 1 for 4 with two RBIs and a run scored.

Justin Zuniga was the only Lancers player with two hits. He finished 2 for 3.

Spencer Long had three hits, scored two runs and drove in two more for El Segundo.

The Eagles pounded out 13 hits, which included four players with at least two hits.

Kobe Estrada went 3 for 3 with a run scored and an RBI.

Landon Smith went two scoreless for La Salle.

James Barnard gave up two unearned runs on two hits over one inning and Jerry Kavanaugh surrendered two runs over an inning pitched.
