Accomplishments: Nicassio led Flintridge Prep in a pair of victories over La Canada and then a Prep League sweep over Rio Hondo Prep. The 6-foot-3 sophomore had 15 kills and 2 aces in the Rebels’ five-set win over La Canada. It was Prep’s first victory over the Spartans in five years. The next night, Nicassio added 14 kills and 2 aces in a sweep over Rio Hondo Prep, which gives the Rebels a near lock on the Prep League title. On the season, the Rebels are 15-2 overall and 5-0 in league, and Nicassio has 150 kills, which is second behind Jonny Samuels’ 167.
