In the second year of a two-year cycle, the Pasadena City College football team will have an identical 10-game regular season, 2017 schedule that matches the 2016 opponents. However, the Lancers will now switch sites with all 10 colleges this year.

PCC opens the season at Robinson Stadium in a Sept. 2 SCFA non-conference game against Long Beach City College. The Lancers begin their 6-game, American Metro League slate at El Camino-Compton Center on Sept. 30. Eight of PCC’s games, including its entire 5-game home schedule, will have 6 p.m. evening kickoffs. All games are played on Saturdays.

The only afternoon contests will be on Sept. 16 when the Lancers drive to Santa Maria for a 2 p.m. non-conference game at Allan Hancock College and the ’17 AML season finale at Santa Ana in a 1 p.m. start.

PCC head coach Tom Maher begins his 11th season in charge of the Lancers and second year of his second stint at the position. The Lancers are looking for their first .500 season since 2009 (5-5) and first winning year since 2008 when the team went 7-4 and played in their last postseason game, the Tremblay Financial Services Bowl.
