Marshall is just two games into the 2017 girls volleyball season.

Not much to report here, right?

Well, in one week of the new season, the Eagles are just ONE VICTORY from tying last year’s win total (3).

After sweeping Muir on Tuesday, Marshall did the same to Blair on Thursday.

The Eagles earned a 25-14, 25-14 and 25-10.

Just like Tuesday, Samantha James led the way with 9 kills and 3 aces.

Allison Moore had 6 kills.

Aileen Lopez added 17 assists and 5 aces.

Quotable:

Marshall coach Sang Lee: “The girls are starting to get comfortable with each other on the court and you can see it in their play. We still have too many service errors, but our serving has also improved from our last match. I thought Aileen was really setting the ball well at some difficult angles. She was very consistent for us.”
