The Caltech men’s cross country team has been slotted 10th in the USTFCCCA Preseason West Regional Ranking.
Head Coach Ben Raphelson’s squad vaults into the rankings after finishing last season as No. 16 in the West Region. The Beavers are one of five SCIAC teams included in the Top 10, matching their position in the SCIAC Preseason Coaches Poll. Their only other appearance in the rankings came two years ago in early November following a fifth-place finish at the SCIAC Championships.
Caltech opens the season on Saturday, Sept. 2 at the University of Redlands Invitational.
