La Salle won its eighth match of the season, and again, did so via sweep.
This time, the Lancers defeated South Pasadena by scores of 25-18, 25-21 and 25-22 on Tuesday in a nonleague match.
In their eight victories, La Salle has dropped just one set, and that was to Flintridge Sacred Heart.
Sofia Sanchez led the way with 12 kills.
Tori Ashkinos, our Pasadena Sports Now girls athlete of the week, added 9 kills and 18 assists.
Vanessa Ramirez had 12 digs, 2 kills and 2 aces for the Lancers.
