Mayfield’s doubles output was so dominant, the Cubs’ singles players only needed to win 1 of 9 matches to clinch Thursday’s nonleague contest.
The Cubs went 9 for 9 in doubles and won the match, 15-3.
Arianna and Alexia Saigh won matches by scores of 6-2, 6-2 and 6-0, while
Mayfield’s top singles player, Lauren Panajotovic cruised again, 6-4, 6-2 and 6-0.
Carly Hall, the No. 2 singles player won two of her three matches.
