This might and should sound incredible.
After Pasadena defeated Glendale in four sets on Tuesday night in a Pacific League contest, the Bulldogs win streak reached nine matches.
While that on its own may not sound too earth shattering, consider one thing.
The Bulldogs have won as many matches on this current streak than they did all of 2016, when they went 9-11 for the year.
Glendale won the first game, but Pasadena fought back for three consecutive sets.
PHS earned a 24-26, 25-22, 25-18 and 25-18 victory.
Setter Sophie Lindsay had a great game with over 20 assists and 8 kills.
Middle blocker Taurie Magee also had a solid effort with 14 kills.
And outside hitter Divine Johnson had 12 kills.
PHS will head to La Salle Wednesday night to take on the Lancers at 5:30.
